Removing Smoke Smell with HEPA Filters

Air purifiers can be a great addition to your appliances. You can use them practically anywhere and some of them are even portable. Taking them with you on trips is a great idea, especially if someone who travels with you is a smoker. Smoking is a bad habit, but some people are slow to kick the habit.

One of the best parts about an air purifier is that it can eliminate that smoke smell. This is especially true if it has a HEPA filter inside of it. HEPA filters are some of the most powerful filters on the market, so you can’t go wrong whenever you get an air purifier with one in it.

According to Damage Control 911, the smoke smell will be a thing of the past. However, if the smoke has stained materials like clothing, car seats, or curtains, you’ll have to use other means instead of an air purifier. Until that happens, though, you can use a HEPA air purifier to keep the smell out of the air.

The stains will emit that smell, but the air purifier will keep it away until you clean it. There are many ways to clean it, like mixtures of vinegar and baking soda, but an ozone generator will do fine as well.
